Author: Razer

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Razer installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and uninstall older Razer Synapse/headset software first. Reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Headset not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port instead of a hub, check Device Manager for unknown/disabled audio devices, and set the SWTOR Gaming Headset as default playback and recording device.

Question 3

Version conflicts or missing mic/surround?

Accepted Answer

Install the package that matches your Windows version and headset revision; don’t mix Razer Synapse 2 and 3. If audio works but mic or virtual surround does not, uninstall all Razer audio software, reboot, then reinstall.
