Question 1

Install fails or stops with driver/signature errors?

Accepted Answer

Run the Seiko installer as administrator, close other SLP utilities, temporarily pause antivirus, and confirm you are using the correct 32-bit or 64-bit SLP 440 package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the SLP 440’s power and USB data cable, connect directly to a rear USB port instead of a hub, then remove any “Unknown Device” in Device Manager and reconnect.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Seiko SLP drivers and stale print queues in Print Management, reboot, then install only the latest SLP 440 driver. If jobs queue but labels do not feed, verify label size and recalibrate.
