Name: Sitecom USB 2.0 to IDE SATA Combo Adapter Driver
Author: Sitecom

Question 1

Install fails or driver won’t sign?

Accepted Answer

This adapter uses an older USB bridge driver. Run setup as administrator, connect to a USB 2.0 port, and if Windows blocks it, use compatibility mode for the listed OS or install the signed driver matching your Windows architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected / drive missing?

Accepted Answer

Check the adapter’s power supply and use a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. For IDE drives, set the jumper correctly for Master/Slave; for SATA, reseat both connectors. Confirm the disk spins up and appears in Disk Management.

Question 3

Version conflicts / wrong driver loaded?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Sitecom or generic bridge drivers in Device Manager, reboot, then install only the package for your Windows version. If Windows auto-loads a conflicting mass-storage driver, roll it back or update it from Device Manager.
