Name: SilverCrest WC2130 Driver
Author: SilverCrest

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the WC2130, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus/SmartScreen. If it still fails, uninstall any prior SilverCrest webcam driver in Device Manager, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a USB 2.0 port directly on the PC, not a hub. Check Device Manager for “Unknown USB Device” or a camera warning icon; update or roll back the driver there. Test in Windows Camera.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows Update?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager > Cameras > SilverCrest WC2130 > Properties > Driver, roll back or manually select the downloaded driver. Restart before testing; avoid generic webcam drivers.
