Name: Sierra Wireless HSPA Network Adapter Driver
Author: Sierra Wireless

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the HSPA adapter before running the Sierra installer, run it as administrator, and remove any older Sierra Wireless driver/connection manager first. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port/cable, preferably USB 2.0, and check Device Manager for “Other devices” or a yellow warning icon. Update the driver manually by selecting the adapter’s INF file.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Sierra Wireless drivers and stale OEM INF packages (via Programs and Features or `pnputil`), reboot, then install the package matching your adapter model and Windows version. Avoid mixing drivers from different Sierra packages.
