Name: Sierra Wireless AC595U Device Driver
Author: Sierra Wireless

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

The AC595U uses legacy USB modem drivers that may be blocked on newer Windows. Run the installer as administrator, use Windows compatibility mode, or update the driver manually via Device Manager by pointing to the extracted driver folder.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for unknown USB devices or missing COM ports. Try a different USB port, avoid unpowered hubs, reseat the modem, and reinstall the Sierra Wireless USB composite driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Older Sierra Wireless AirCard/Watcher software can conflict with newer drivers. Uninstall previous Sierra Wireless drivers and connection manager, reboot, then install the matching AC595U driver package only.
