Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the PN-L702B touch panel, run the Sharp installer as administrator, and temporarily disable security software. Confirm the driver matches your Windows version and architecture, then reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Touch panel not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the panel’s power and USB cable, use a direct rear USB port instead of a hub, and inspect Device Manager for unknown USB/HID devices. Update chipset/USB drivers, then reinstall the Sharp touch driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate touch devices?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, enable “Show hidden devices,” remove old or duplicate Sharp PN-L702B touch entries, uninstall the previous driver, reboot, and install the latest package once. Avoid mixing generic Windows HID touch drivers with the vendor driver.
