Name: Sharp MX 3115N PCL6 Driver
Author: Sharp

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Sharp MX 3115N print queues, clear the spooler queue, then run the Sharp PCL6 installer as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks unpacking/install.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MX 3115N is on the same subnet and reachable by IP. Add it manually with a Standard TCP/IP port and the Sharp PCL6 driver instead of relying on WSD discovery.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall generic Windows PCL6 or older Sharp packages, restart, and install the matching MX 3115N PCL6 driver. Avoid mixing PCL5/PCL6 queues; delete old queues before upgrading.
