Question 1

Install fails or setup cannot find the printer?

Accepted Answer

Run the Sharp installer as administrator. For network use, create a Standard TCP/IP port with the AR M450’s IP address and confirm the PC can ping it; for USB, check the cable and use the correct USB port.

Question 2

Device not detected after driver install?

Accepted Answer

Open Print Management, verify the queue uses the Sharp AR M450 PCL 6 driver and the right port. Remove any failed queue, restart the Print Spooler service, then add the printer again.

Question 3

Version conflicts with older Sharp drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Sharp AR/MX PCL drivers and delete stale print queues in Print Management. Restart Windows, then install only the current AR M450 PCL 6 package matching your OS architecture.
