Author: Sharp

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Sharp installer as administrator, connect USB only when prompted, and let all driver components finish. Temporarily disable third-party antivirus if it blocks the setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a known data cable and a rear port. For network, confirm the AR 5620N has a reserved IP, ping it, and create a TCP/IP port using that address before selecting the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Sharp AR-series drivers and stale ports via Print Management, reboot, then install the package matching your Windows version/architecture. Avoid mixing PCL and PS drivers unless required.
