Name: Sharp AR 122E N Driver
Author: Sharp

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, run the Sharp installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. For the AR-122E N, install the driver before reconnecting USB; use Windows compatibility mode only if the package is older than your OS.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered and ready, try a different USB cable and a rear motherboard port (avoid hubs). If using the network option, verify the AR-122E N’s IP address and that the Windows printer port points to it.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Sharp AR-122E N drivers and stale print queues in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler service, then reinstall the correct 32/64-bit package. Don’t mix older and newer Sharp driver versions.
