Name: Sennheiser USB Headset Driver
Author: Sennheiser

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Sennheiser USB headset, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before reconnecting the headset.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the headset directly into a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check Sound, video and game controllers and USB controllers; uninstall any marked warning entries, then reconnect.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Sennheiser and generic USB audio drivers, select “Delete the driver software,” reboot, and install the latest package from the manufacturer. Avoid mixing older headset utilities with the new driver.
