Name: Sapphire Toxic HD Driver
Author: Sapphire

Question 1

Install fails or crashes?

Accepted Answer

Download the AMD/Sapphire driver package for the exact Toxic HD model, run it as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove leftover AMD drivers with DDU in Safe Mode, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the card, connect all required 6/8-pin PCIe power cables, and plug the monitor into the GPU—not the motherboard. Check BIOS for PCIe as primary display and test another PCIe slot/PSU if needed.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows Update may overwrite the AMD driver, causing Code 43 or poor performance. Use DDU to remove all AMD graphics drivers, install the matching Sapphire/AMD package, then roll back or block the unwanted driver update in Device Manager.
