Name: Saitek Pro Flight Yoke (HID) Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Unplug the yoke, remove older Saitek/Mad Catz/Logitech flight software, reboot, then plug the yoke directly into a rear USB 2.0 port. Let Windows install it as a “HID-compliant game controller”; run any installer as administrator.

Question 2

Yoke not detected?

Accepted Answer

Avoid unpowered USB hubs. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes and uninstall any yellow-marked HID/game controller entry, then reconnect. Check the USB cable and try another port.

Question 3

Version conflicts or wrong calibration?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall duplicate Saitek/Mad Catz drivers and old profiles, show hidden devices, remove stale HID game controller entries, reboot, install one current package, and recalibrate via `joy.cpl`.
