Name: Saitek Cyborg V.3 Gaming Mouse (USB) Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Installer fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

Run the Saitek driver setup as Administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for Windows 7/8 if the legacy package refuses to start. Disconnect the Cyborg V.3 mouse during setup, then reconnect when prompted.

Question 2

Mouse not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug it directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub or front-panel port. Check Device Manager for “Unknown device” or HID entries; uninstall them, reboot, and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing Saitek or Mad Catz Cyborg mouse software and the old HID driver first. Reboot, install only the matching 64-bit package, and avoid mixing it with Windows Update’s generic mouse driver.
