Name: Saitek Cyborg V.1 Stick (HID) Driver
Author: Saitek

Question 1

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Open Device Manager, check under "Human Interface Devices" for the Cyborg V.1 Stick. If it shows a warning icon, unplug the stick, try a different USB port (preferably USB 2.0 directly on the PC, not a hub), then reconnect and let Windows re-enumerate it. Avoid USB 3.0 ports if detection remains unreliable.

Question 2

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Saitek/Mad Catz installer as Administrator and temporarily disable antivirus. Disconnect the stick during installation, install the driver first, then plug it in when prompted. If setup still fails, remove any existing Saitek entries in Device Manager and reboot before retrying.

Question 3

Version or driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Saitek software and drivers via Programs and Features, then delete leftover HID entries in Device Manager. Reboot, install the matching driver version for your Windows build, and avoid mixing legacy Saitek and newer Mad Catz packages.
