Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The legacy Saitek installer may need admin rights and Windows 7 compatibility mode. Right-click the setup file, choose Properties > Compatibility, and run as administrator. If blocked by driver signing, temporarily disable signature enforcement.

Question 2

Keyboard not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect it directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for unknown/HID keyboard entries, uninstall them, then rescan hardware.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing Saitek/Mad Catz software and old keyboard drivers first, including hidden devices. Reboot, then install only one driver/software version.
