Name: SafeNet USB SuperPro UltraPro Driver
Author: SafeNet

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the dongle, uninstall older Sentinel/UltraPro drivers, run the vendor installer as administrator, then reconnect and reboot. Antivirus can block the USB driver service; temporarily disable it during install.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a rear direct USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown USB device or SafeNet dongle entry, then reinstall the matching SafeNet USB SuperPro/UltraPro driver. Confirm the dongle LED is lit.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Don’t mix old Rainbow/SafeNet Sentinel drivers with the current UltraPro package. Remove all existing Sentinel/UltraPro driver entries, reboot, and install only the vendor’s latest signed driver for your Windows architecture.
