Name: Sabrent USB GAMEPAD Driver
Author: Sabrent

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Sabrent installer as administrator and temporarily pause antivirus/security software. If Windows blocks the driver, check Device Manager for a yellow warning icon, uninstall the failed entry, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Gamepad not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably rear motherboard ports, and avoid unpowered hubs. In Device Manager, look under “Human Interface Devices” or “Unknown device”; uninstall the entry, reconnect the gamepad, and let Windows re-detect it.

Question 3

Version/controller conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older gamepad drivers and vendor software first, including hidden HID/game controller entries in Device Manager. Reboot before installing the latest Sabrent driver to avoid duplicate or mismatched controller profiles.
