Question 1

“No matching device” / install fails?

Accepted Answer

`killernetworkcomponent.inf` is a Killer software component, not a standalone NIC driver. Install it through the full Killer/Intel Network Software package or update the Killer adapter in Device Manager; right-clicking the INF often fails.

Question 2

Killer adapter not detected after Windows update?

Accepted Answer

check Device Manager > Network adapters (View > Show hidden devices), remove stale Killer entries, reboot, and reinstall the OEM-matched Killer driver package. Disable Fast Startup if the adapter disappears after shutdown.

Question 3

Version conflicts with Killer Control Center?

Accepted Answer

uninstall older Killer Performance Suite/Control Center and duplicate “Killer Network Component” entries, reboot, then install one matching OEM package. Don’t mix Microsoft Store Control Center with a different OEM driver version.
