Question 1

Driver install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the RISO CV 3230 installer as administrator, disconnect the USB cable until prompted, and remove any older RISO CV/RN driver package first. Generic PCL drivers may not work.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the CV 3230 is powered on and ready, check the USB/network connection, and select the correct port. Restart the Windows Print Spooler service, then rerun the RISO installer.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Delete old CV 3230 print queues and RISO driver entries in Print Management, reboot, and reinstall the latest CV 3230-specific driver. Avoid mixing old and new driver versions.
