Installer fails or stalls?

Close Razer Synapse/Razer Central, uninstall older Razer software, run the Naga Hex driver installer as administrator, then reboot before retrying.

Mouse not detected or side buttons unresponsive?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Naga Hex directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, avoid hubs/KVMs, test another cable/port, and reinstall the driver with the mouse plugged in.

Question 3

Version conflicts or lost button mappings?

Accepted Answer

Remove conflicting Synapse versions, install the Synapse release that supports Naga Hex, export profiles first, and avoid beta updates that can reset side-button assignments.
