Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Close Razer Synapse/Cortex, temporarily disable antivirus, run the installer as administrator, reboot, then retry. Remove leftover Razer folders if it still fails.

Question 2

Mouse not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the DeathAdder directly to a rear USB port, try another cable/port, and check Device Manager for unknown USB devices. Avoid unpowered hubs; test on another PC to isolate cable or port faults.

Question 3

Synapse/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Razer Synapse versions and device drivers before installing the current package. Do not mix Synapse 2 and 3/4; reboot after removal, then install the version matching your DeathAdder model.
