Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Razer Synapse entries, run the installer as administrator, temporarily pause antivirus, and reboot before retrying. Remove leftover Razer folders if setup loops.

Question 2

Keyboard not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Anansi directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, avoid unpowered hubs, try another cable/port, and check Device Manager for unknown devices. Reinstall Synapse after removing the device.

Question 3

Macro keys/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

The Anansi is legacy; mixing Synapse 2.0 and Synapse 3 can break macro keys. Uninstall all Razer software, install the Synapse version that supports Anansi, then update firmware and reboot.
