Question 1

Driver install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

The ADFU driver may be unsigned or the wrong INF. Run the installer as administrator; if Windows blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then point Device Manager to the vendor’s ADFU INF. Confirm the 32/64-bit match.

Question 2

Device not detected in ADFU mode?

Accepted Answer

The tablet only enumerates in firmware-upgrade mode. Power off, hold the vendor key combo while connecting, use a known data cable and a rear USB 2.0 port. Check Device Manager for unknown USB/descriptor errors and update manually.

Question 3

Version conflicts with older USB/ADB drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Ramos/Allwinner ADFU and ADB drivers, remove hidden devices, reboot, and install only the matching vendor package before reconnecting.
