Name: Ralink RT3572 Driver
Author: Ralink

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the Ralink RT3572 driver matching your exact Windows version and architecture. Right-click the installer and choose Run as administrator. For older unsigned packages, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, or install manually via Device Manager > Update driver > Browse.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a direct rear USB port instead of a hub. In Device Manager, check for unknown devices or network adapters, uninstall old/hidden Ralink entries, then rescan. Confirm the USB VID/PID matches RT3572.

Question 3

Version conflicts or unstable Wi-Fi?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Ralink/MediaTek and Windows generic drivers, reboot, then install only one RT3572 driver. If Windows Update replaces it, roll back and set the correct region in adapter properties.
