Name: Ralink RT3092 Driver
Author: Ralink

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The RT3092 driver is legacy and often unsigned. Run the installer as Administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode, or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement; prefer a signed RT3092-specific package if available.

Question 2

Device not detected / no wireless networks?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the RT3092 PCIe/mini-PCIe card is fully seated, antennas are connected, and Wi-Fi is enabled in BIOS. In Device Manager, check for an unknown network controller and install the exact RT3092 driver, not a generic RT309x package.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Code 10/31 errors?

Accepted Answer

Remove all existing Ralink/Wi-Fi drivers and the Windows inbox wireless driver, reboot, then install only one RT3092 driver version. If problems persist, use Device Manager > Roll Back Driver or uninstall the device and rescan.
