Name: Radio Shack Gigaware 2.4GHz Wireless Touchpad Mouse Driver
Author: Gigaware

Question 1

Receiver not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the 2.4 GHz USB receiver directly into a rear USB port (not a hub), check Device Manager for an unknown USB/HID device, and remove/reinsert the mouse battery. If still missing, try another PC to isolate the receiver.

Question 2

Install fails or driver won’t load?

Accepted Answer

Run the Gigaware installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, uninstall any older mouse/touchpad driver, reboot, then reinstall. Do not connect the receiver until setup prompts.

Question 3

Version conflicts/touchpad gestures stop?

Accepted Answer

Windows may load a generic HID mouse driver. In Device Manager, uninstall the mouse/HID entry, reboot, and let Windows re-detect; use Roll Back Driver if gestures or tapping broke after an update.
