Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Unplug the AUVIO adapter, run the driver installer as administrator, and temporarily pause antivirus. Reboot before reconnecting the adapter; avoid installing from a USB hub.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the adapter directly to a USB 2.0/3.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown/USB display devices; reinstall the USB host controller/chipset drivers and try another cable/port.

Question 3

Version conflicts or blank display?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older USB-to-HDMI/DisplayLink-style drivers and vendor utilities, reboot, then install one compatible driver version. If a Windows update breaks output, roll back the driver in Device Manager.
