Name: QMS Magicolor 7300 Driver
Author: QMS

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The legacy QMS package may be blocked by Windows driver signing. Run the installer as Administrator, try Windows 7 compatibility mode, or use Add Printer > Have Disk and point to the Magicolor 7300 INF.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the 7300 is powered and ready, then use the correct port. For Ethernet, set a static IP and create a TCP/IP port; for USB/parallel, try a direct port/cable and avoid hubs.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old QMS Magicolor 7300 printers and leftover driver packages in Print Management before reinstalling. Match the 32/64-bit driver to Windows, then print a test page.
