Author: QMS

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The QMS Imagen 3308 driver package is older; run setup as administrator in Windows compatibility mode and temporarily disable antivirus. If it still fails, remove previous QMS/Imagen printer entries, reboot, and retry.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Imagen 3308 is powered on and connected to the correct USB/network port. For USB, use a rear port and known-good cable; for network, set a static IP and add the printer manually with a Standard TCP/IP port.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing QMS Imagen 3308 drivers via Print Management > Drivers, delete leftover driver packages, then install the download matching your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Avoid mixing PCL/PostScript drivers unless required.
