Name: QLogic QLA 2100 Driver
Author: QLogic

Question 1

Install fails or driver won’t load?

Accepted Answer

The QLA 2100 driver is legacy and may be unsigned or blocked on newer Windows. Run setup as administrator; if signature enforcement blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement or use a compatible Windows release, then install via Device Manager > Update Driver > Browse.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the PCI card and confirm the slot/BIOS recognizes it. Check Fibre Channel link/activity and firmware. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes and look under SCSI/RAID or Fibre Channel controllers.

Question 3

Version conflicts/duplicate entries?

Accepted Answer

Remove older QLogic packages and ghost adapters first, then install one QLA 2100-compatible driver version. Avoid mixing in-box QLogic/SCSI miniport drivers with legacy SANblade software.
