Name: PROLiNK WN2201 Wireless N Mini USB Adapter Driver
Author: PROLiNK

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the PROLiNK WN2201 installer as administrator, unblock the downloaded ZIP/EXE, temporarily disable antivirus, remove any existing mini USB Wi-Fi adapter driver, then reboot and reinstall.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably USB 2.0 directly on the PC, not a hub. In Device Manager, look for Unknown device or the wireless adapter, uninstall it, rescan, and test the WN2201 in another PC to rule out a faulty unit.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older PROLiNK or generic wireless drivers, including hidden devices, match the driver to Windows 32/64-bit and the WN2201 hardware revision, then reboot. Check Device Manager for the installed driver version/date.
