Name: PROLiNK WN2001 Wireless N Nano USB Adapter Driver
Author: PROLiNK

Question 1

Installer fails or exits early?

Accepted Answer

Right-click the PROLiNK WN2001 setup file and choose Run as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus, and use Windows compatibility mode if the package predates your Windows version.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the nano adapter directly into a USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Reinsert it and check Device Manager for an unknown device or PROLiNK/Ralink WLAN entry; uninstall faulty entries and rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropped Wi-Fi?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old PROLiNK/Ralink wireless drivers and the generic Microsoft adapter entry with “Delete driver software,” reboot, then install the WN2001 package. If Windows Update replaces it, roll back or reinstall the vendor driver.
