Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the driver package matches your Windows version and architecture for the SuperTrak EX4650. Install via Device Manager > Update driver > Browse > Let me pick > Have Disk. Reboot before retrying and avoid forcing a generic RAID driver.

Question 2

Controller or array not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check that the EX4650 appears in BIOS/UEFI and is seated in a powered PCIe slot. Enable the RAID option ROM if needed, create/import the array, then use Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes. Check Disk Management for uninitialized volumes.

Question 3

Version conflicts or instability?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Procom/SuperTrak drivers and management utilities, reboot, then install the single EX4650-matched package. Do not mix inbox, OEM, or generic RAID drivers; roll back if a newer package breaks the array.
