Name: Pro Audio MARIAN Trace D4 Driver
Author: Marian

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the MARIAN setup as Administrator, close DAWs and audio apps, and temporarily disable antivirus. If Windows blocks the driver, allow it in Device Manager or disable driver signature enforcement only during install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power down, reseat the Trace D4 in its PCIe slot, and check Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers. Try another PCIe slot, update motherboard chipset drivers, and disable conflicting onboard audio.

Question 3

Version conflicts/ASIO errors?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older MARIAN driver, reboot, then install the latest Trace D4 package. In your DAW, select the MARIAN ASIO driver—not ASIO4ALL—and avoid mixing old control-panel versions.
