Name: PreSonus AudioBox 22VSL Driver
Author: PreSonus

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the AudioBox 22VSL before starting. Run the PreSonus installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and remove any older AudioBox VSL/Universal Control entry first. Reboot when prompted, then connect the interface directly.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a USB 2.0 port on the PC, not a hub or front-panel extension. Try a known-good USB cable, confirm the 22VSL appears in Device Manager, and select it as the audio/ASIO device in your DAW.

Question 3

Driver/software version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Don’t mix old AudioBox VSL software with a newer Universal Control/driver. Uninstall both, reboot, then install the matching PreSonus package for your Windows version and avoid duplicate ASIO drivers.
