Author: Polycom

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Polycom CX5000 setup as administrator and match the package to Windows 32/64-bit. Disconnect the conference station’s USB until the installer prompts, then reconnect.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power the CX5000 conference station and use a direct USB port, not an unpowered hub. In Device Manager, remove any unknown/USB device entries, reboot, and reinstall the CX5000 software.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Polycom CX5000/Microsoft RoundTable drivers and conferencing clients first. Reboot, then install only the latest supported CX5000 package to avoid mixed driver versions.
