Name: Pleomax PCC 4600 Driver
Author: Pleomax

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Pleomax PCC 4600 setup as administrator and use the correct 32/64-bit package. Uninstall any previous PCC 4600 entry in Device Manager, reboot, then reinstall; temporarily disable antivirus if setup is blocked.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the webcam directly to a USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check Imaging devices or Unknown device, uninstall the PCC 4600, and scan for hardware changes. Make sure the lens cover is open and no other app is using the camera.

Question 3

Version conflicts or stuttering?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Pleomax/generic USB Video Class drivers, reboot, and install the latest PCC 4600 driver. If problems persist, roll back the driver in Device Manager or test with Windows’ built-in UVC driver.
