Author: Plantronics

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

The C310 relies on Plantronics Hub for firmware/software updates. Uninstall older Hub versions, reboot, then run the latest installer as administrator with the headset disconnected; reconnect only when prompted.

Question 2

Headset not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the C310 directly into a working USB-A port, not an unpowered hub. In Windows Sound settings, confirm “Plantronics C310” appears as both playback and recording device, then set it as default.

Question 3

Version/audio conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If Windows uses a stale USB audio driver or duplicate Plantronics entries, open Device Manager, uninstall the C310 under Sound, video and game controllers, then reconnect and let Windows reinstall the correct audio driver.
