Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Planet driver package as administrator and match Windows version/architecture. For older ENW-9503/9504/3504FC packages on Windows 10/11, extract the driver and install manually via Device Manager → Update driver → Browse. Disable driver signature enforcement only if the legacy package requires it.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the PCI/PCIe card or try another slot; for USB models, use a rear USB 2.0 port and avoid hubs. Check Device Manager for Unknown device/Network controller and install chipset/USB drivers first.

Question 3

Version conflicts or unstable Wi-Fi?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous Planet WLAN utility/driver, reboot, then install only one package. Let Windows WLAN AutoConfig manage the connection; if throughput drops after updating, roll back to the prior working driver.
