Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Pitney Bowes im3510 driver installer as administrator, temporarily pause antivirus/security software, and confirm the package matches your Windows version and bitness. Reboot and retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the mailing system directly to a USB port, not a hub. Try another USB cable/port, power-cycle the im3510, and check Device Manager for an unknown USB/serial device before reinstalling.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Pitney Bowes mailing software and stale USB/serial drivers, remove unused COM ports, reboot, then install the latest im3510 driver. Avoid mixing drivers from other Pitney Bowes devices.
