Author: Pitney Bowes

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Pitney Bowes AR55 driver setup as administrator, temporarily pause antivirus, and connect the USB cable only when prompted. Use a direct USB 2.0 port, not a hub.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the AR55 address printer is powered on and idle, try a known-good USB cable/port, and check Device Manager for an unknown device. Reconnect after driver installation.

Question 3

Version/queue conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Pitney Bowes AddressRight driver packages and duplicate AR55 printer queues, then restart the Print Spooler service before reinstalling the current driver.
