Name: Pioneer DVD RW DVR 110 ATA Device Driver
Author: Pioneer

Question 1

Setup fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

The DVR-110 is an IDE/ATAPI drive and usually needs no Pioneer package on modern Windows. Don’t force old XP/Vista installers; cancel, uninstall third-party burning suites, then let Windows load its inbox CD/DVD driver via Device Manager > Update driver.

Question 2

Drive not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm an 80-wire IDE cable, correct Master/Slave jumper (or Cable Select), and that BIOS lists the DVR-110. Reseat both IDE and Molex power connectors; try another IDE channel/port. If BIOS doesn’t see it, Windows cannot.

Question 3

Version/conflict errors (Code 10/39)?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Pioneer/Nero/Roxio filter drivers, then reinstall the standard ATAPI/IDE controller driver. Avoid mixing vendor drivers; use Windows Update or Device Manager rollback if a newer driver breaks burning/reading.
