Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port (no hub), use a known-good cable, power the mixer on first, then check Device Manager and Windows Sound settings.

Uninstall all existing Pioneer DJ USB audio/MIDI drivers, reboot, and install the latest driver compatible with your Windows version and the DJM-900nexus; avoid mixing drivers for other Pioneer models.
