Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The Liquid Edition PRO video capture/editing board uses older Pinnacle drivers that may be unsigned or OS-incompatible. Run the installer as administrator, use Windows compatibility mode for XP/Vista if needed, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement on modern Windows.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for unknown/legacy video or imaging devices. Reseat the card, try another compatible PCI/PCIe slot, confirm motherboard chipset drivers are installed, and avoid USB/PCI adapters that change the slot topology.

Question 3

Version conflicts with old Pinnacle/Liquid software?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Pinnacle drivers and Liquid Edition software first. In Device Manager, uninstall the device and delete its driver, reboot, then install only the driver package matching your Windows version and hardware revision.
