Name: Pinnacle Dazzle DVC90 Driver
Author: Pinnacle

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the DVC90 driver installer as administrator and try Windows compatibility mode for XP/Vista. Remove old Pinnacle/Dazzle entries in Device Manager first. Only disable driver signature enforcement if the legacy installer requires it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the DVC90 directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Try a known data cable and check Device Manager for “Unknown Device” or “USB Video Device.” Install the driver before opening capture software.

Question 3

Version or software conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall other Pinnacle/Dazzle capture drivers and codec packs. Match the driver to 32- or 64-bit Windows. If Device Manager shows the DVC90 but capture software does not, run the app in compatibility mode and set the correct video input/format.
