Name: Philips GoGear SA60XX Driver
Author: Philips

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the GoGear SA60XX, run the Philips installer as administrator in Windows compatibility mode, and temporarily disable antivirus. If setup still fails, update the driver manually via Device Manager using the downloaded `.inf` file.

Question 2

Player not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a data-capable USB cable and a rear motherboard port—avoid hubs. Check Device Manager for an unknown/MTP device, confirm the SA60XX is set to the correct USB mode (MTP/MSC), then reconnect.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Philips Device Manager/GoGear drivers and reboot before installing the new package. If Windows keeps loading a generic driver, remove the device in Device Manager with “Delete driver software” and rescan.
