Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Parrot updater/driver as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and confirm the package matches your Windows version. Reboot before retrying; don’t connect the MKi9200 until setup asks.

Question 2

Device not detected over USB/Bluetooth?

Accepted Answer

Use a known data-capable USB cable and a direct rear port, not a hub. Ensure the car kit is powered and in update/PC mode. For Bluetooth, remove the old MKi9200 pairing, enable discovery, and re-pair.

Question 3

Version conflicts after updates?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Parrot software/drivers and remove stale Bluetooth entries first. Match the driver/updater to the MKi9200 firmware level, update firmware before retesting, then reboot and reconnect.
