Name: Pantech Handset USB Composite Device (UDP) Driver
Author: Pantech

Question 1

Install fails or shows a yellow warning icon?

Accepted Answer

The INF may be unsigned or mismatched to your Windows architecture. Open Device Manager, right-click the Pantech composite device, choose Update driver > Browse, and point to the correct signed driver folder. If it still fails, uninstall the device and rescan.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

A charge-only cable or weak USB port can prevent the composite interfaces from enumerating. Try a known data cable and a rear/direct USB port. Confirm the handset is in the correct USB/PC Suite or modem mode.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Older Pantech PC Suite or stale USB drivers can override the new package. Uninstall existing Pantech software/drivers, remove hidden devices, reboot, then install the latest driver package before reconnecting the handset.
